Startship Enterprise Model Builder Plans

I have generated a set of plans targeted for model builders of the Refit Enterprise. Version two is in sixteen sheets. Because the plans are generated from a solid model, they do not have inconsistencies among the various views.

I run into file size problems making these available online. I cannot make a bitmap image that does justice to the printed versions within a manageable size. The source is vector so the larger the print, the greater the detail When printed the lines are hairline fine for accuracy in measurement and you can see the gridlines. Even the larger versions do not show the level of detail in the printed versions.

Before getting to the plans (below) here are a couple of areas blown up even larger to show the level of detail present. Here is an enlargement of on engineering hull hatch. Unlike all other plans, the door is oriented normal to the hull so that the opening is twisted forward and up (rather than normal to the page). You can see the light openings on either side of the door. I did not include the details around the door you can see in the docking sequences because they are not present on the studio model and they do not look right on the bridge hatch. However, I have the solids to create these details.

I continuously update the model as I find issues or change my mind about something. I should have an updated version of these plans in the near future. The changes will be in the details so most people will notice no difference.

Door Detail

Here is a detail of the neck area. The 3D square shape groves of the saucer is visible at the end of the groves. The v-groove shape on the neck is also clearly visible.
